To the editor:

For the past 14 years, we’ve lived at the intersection of Princeton and Arrowhead Drive. This also is an entrance to Deerfield School and the entrance to Deerfield Park. In other words, it’s a very busy intersection. Also, for the past 14 years, and probably a lot longer, this location has been a real mess. It’s so full of holes that traffic sometimes comes to a complete halt while trying to drive through there.

Every three or four months the city comes out and throws a little patch in these holes, but this only lasts a short time. It would be a real help if the city would quit spending all of its time and money building “cutesy” roundabouts and just try to take care of the infrastructure of this town. We’re so busy trying to be “upscale” that the town in general is falling apart. I know that there are many intersections and areas that are as bad or worse than this one, but this one is mine, and I and many others fight it every day.
