Christian nation?

To the editor:

“Our nation is a Christian nation. We are based on Christian principles,” said Kathy Martin, one of three state school board members who will preside over six days of hearings starting May 5 that have attracted international attention.

Christian nation? Since when?

Go tell it to the Jews, Muslims, Hindus, Sikhs, Buddhists, atheists, agnostics, etc., who all pay taxes to the same government that promises in its Constitution the freedom to practice any religion they may choose.

These people are downright dangerous in a “free” society and I’m awful tired of the cowering masses tolerating their bullying. What’s next, pogroms? You want state-sponsored religion, lady?
