To the editor:

I read with horror Adonia David’s letter of April 6 regarding the seal slaughter in Canada. I agree that an end must be put to this unacceptable and unconscionable practice. I visited the Humane Society of the United States Web site and want to let people know that it contains more information about the situation, about joining the boycott, how to tell what seafood is actually Canadian and what other steps can be taken to make a difference.

This unnecessary massacre must be curtailed immediately.
