Repeat mistakes
To the editor:
I was greatly saddened to see that two-thirds of Kansans voted in favor of the same-sex marriage amendment. To think that in the dawn of the 21st century, we are once again being led into the old archaic ways where the church and state are once again becoming one. Worse yet is that the citizens of our country are not only letting it happen, but encouraging it as well.
Did we learn nothing from the past? Perhaps we need to increase educational funding even more so that our children can see what the past says about the mistakes we are once again making.
