Absence speaks
To the editor:
Regarding the recent Ann Coulter show (use of the term “lecture” would be inappropriate): The fact that the Fred Phelps contingent did NOT picket the event speaks volumes as to the level of hate-mongering espoused by this conservative performer. It’s a tragic day when a person who displays such disdain for any group of people — let alone 50 percent of the population — receives a standing ovation.
