To the editor:

I cannot believe what I’m hearing and reading about our “so-called Jayhawk fans.” I’m hearing or reading, “Let’s fire the coach and ride him out of town.”

Hey, everyone, we had a good year. I’m disappointed we didn’t go further in the tournament.

I feel there were some seniors that didn’t buy into the Coach Self-style of play. Rumors were they would contact our former coach. This former coach should keep his nose with his team.

So let’s get off Coach Self’s back and give him our support. Look what he did in Illinois. Those are his recruits, and they are in the Final Four.

So, let things rest in Jayhawk Country. We’ll be back. Go Bill Self! You’re great!
