To the editor:

A recent writer in the Public Forum described the Republicans as “clueless.” Thank God for those “clueless” Republicans who want me to be informed if my 12-year-old daughter is considering an abortion; after all she is MY daughter. Thank God for those “clueless” Republicans who passed the greatest tax cuts in history that revived our economy, which was left in cyclical recession by a Democratic administration.

Thank God for those “clueless” Republicans who listened to a grieving mother and father and did what they legally could to give Terri Schiavo a chance to live, while others promoted her death. Just for the record, Terri Schiavo wasn’t dying until two weeks ago when her feeding tube was removed. When I am helpless and no one will defend me, I’ll take the “clueless” Republicans anytime.

Yes, I will remember all of this next time I go to the polls and I will absolutely vote Republican, especially if they are as “clueless” as the current ones.
