Overland Park ? Free State goalkeeper Aaron Williams shut down Shawnee Mission East on Thursday, and the Firebird soccer team remained unbeaten with a 0-0 double-overtime tie.

“Our goalkeeper played excellent,” said Free State coach Jason Pendleton, who also praised defenders Sam Buhler and David Turvey. “He made a lot of saves. We played good defense as a team.”

FSHS (5-0-1) will play host Saturday to Junction City.
