Action justified

To the editor:

The hypocrisy and ignorance of those who decry President Bush’s decision to remove Saddam Hussein from power is staggering. This group of people, who loudly proclaim their causes in the name of their civil rights, apparently would be perfectly content to withhold those same liberties from millions of Iraqi people.

For those who question the value of the war in Iraq, the war that brought freedom to people under murderous, dictatorial rule for decades, please view a few of the pictures at http://massgraves.info, if you have the courage to face reality. Even a brief perusal of the photographs of the thousands of Iraqis buried in mass graves should be enough to silence any opposition to the president’s decision.

Unfortunately, because these people despise Bush for his values, not for his decision to wage war, I doubt they will be able to see the truth, even when it screams at them from a mass grave.

Kale Woods,
