A Lawrence man was killed this morning in Wyandotte County after crashing his motorcycle into the back of a dump truck.

The Kansas Highway Patrol said David G. Quesenbury, 51, was traveling east on Kansas Highway 32 around 5:30 a.m.

According to the Highway Patrol, Quesenbury ran into the back of the dump truck as it was stopped at a traffic light near Interstate 435.

Quesenbury then veered into the outside lane, where his ’76 Harley-Davidson motorcycle was struck by a truck also heading eastbound.

The other two drivers were not injured in the crash.

Quesenbury was pronounced dead at the scene.
