Why is Nancy Boyda dodging questions about her past as a war protester?

According to The (Kansas City) Pitch, Boyda helped organize an anti-war bus trip last year to Washington, D.C., to protest with an organization called A.N.S.W.E.R. that opposed the deployment of our troops in Afghanistan to hunt for Osama bin Laden.

Ms. Boyda told the Topeka Capital-Journal on Sept. 27 of this year that “talking about whether the United States should have gone to war is inappropriate, because so many troops already are deployed abroad.” Really?

Ms. Boyda didn’t feel the same in 2003, the year she filed to run for political office. While Nancy Boyda enjoyed her life of suburban comfort as a Johnson County war protester, our troops fought in Afghanistan.
