Smoking litter
To the editor:
It’s too bad people have to act so childish. Smokers know that littering is never a good thing to do. There is an ordinance against littering. Besides, why would you trash your beautiful city.
I love Lawrence. I’m from Topeka and I spend a lot of time and money there. It really hurts to see people trashing your own place where you live. I just wish they would stop selling those cigarettes with the filter. They are not biodegradable and will just stay put for all to see for years to come. The city shouldn’t have to pick up after you. Use a little common sense and courtesy.
