Burglaries and thefts reported

  • A 20-year-old Kansas University student told police that someone broke the rear window of his 2004 Nissan Altima and stole a $1,400 compact-disc/DVD player.

The theft happened between 3 a.m. and 6 a.m. Tuesday in the 5000 block of Clinton Parkway.
