McLouth woman injured in accident

A 65-year-old woman suffered injuries this morning when her car struck a road grader just south of McLouth, according to the Kansas Highway Patrol.

Joann C. Willits, McLouth, was transported to Lawrence Memorial Hospital, according to the patrol.

The accident occurred about four miles south of McLouth, the patrol said. Willits was traveling north on Washington Road when the road grader, driven by Samuel L. Summerville, Perry, backed into her car, the patrol said.

Summerville was not injured.
