Anyone’s better
To the editor:
The blurb, “Any Democrat with a brain will look at Gonzales’ record and figure they should be happy with him as a replacement for John Ashcroft,” caught my eye and I read the entire column of Peter Brown (columnist for the Orlando Sentinel) that appeared in the Journal-World Nov. 16. I would like to inform Mr. Brown — with all due respect to Alberto Gonzales, who may turn out to be a superb attorney general — that Democrats and other thinking Americans likely would consider even a shaved ape a good replacement for John Ashcroft.
