A vet’s response

To the editor:

When I was 17 years old, I had the privilege of serving my country in the trenches of Korea in the hope of stopping the spread of communism. In the process, I came close to making the ultimate sacrifice many times.

Getting to the point, my family and “God We Trust” are the first of my priorities. The second is my flag and my country. To the person that came on my property and desecrated my American flag on Election Day: I don’t wish you any bad luck, but when you get home this evening, I hope your mama comes out from under the porch and bites you.

God bless our great nation, our greatest commander in chief and our troops above all. God bless America.

Mel Lisher,
