Schools lauded
To the editor:
In August 1979, Verlin Gilbert welcomed our first son, Walker, into Deerfield School. In May 2004, Joe Snyder waved a fond farewell to our second son, Cole. For 15 years, the Lawrence public schools provided our sons with a marvelous educational experience. We would like to thank the administration, teachers, coaches, secretaries and custodial staff for their hard work and dedication. Our family thanks each and every one of you for a superb experience.
We salute everyone at Deerfield, West and Free State for fond memories and a wonderful education.
