Burglaries and thefts reported

  • Someone scooted off with an “E-Z-GO” golf cart belonging to Riverview Golf Course, 2101 N. 1500 Road, Eudora. The cart was last seen May 15, but the theft wasn’t reported until May 21. The cart was valued at $1,200.
  • Someone damaged an apartment door in the 2400 block of West 24th Street Terrace and took a $1,530 Toshiba laptop. The incident happened between 9:15 a.m. and 5:40 p.m. Tuesday.
  • A 16-year-old Lawrence girl told police an acquaintance caused $1,000 in damage to the driver’s side of her 2001 Honda Civic between midnight and 4 p.m. Sunday in the 3100 block of West 22nd Street.
