Volunteers sought to help elderly
Interfaith Caring Neighbors is encouraging volunteers to take action during May, which is Older Americans Month.
The theme of the month is, “Aging Well, Living Well.” Volunteers can increase the quality of life for elderly residents by helping them with everyday tasks such as yard work, delivering groceries or providing friendships.
Interfaith Caring Neighbors serves people over the age of 60 of all income levels with volunteers trained to meet their needs. Volunteering takes a few hours each week.
