Firebirds’ Humbarger to sign with ESU

Free State High senior Emilie Humbarger will sign a letter of intent to play soccer at Emporia State University.

Humbarger will sign at 10 a.m. today.

SM South spills LHS soccer, 7-1

The Lawrence High girls soccer team fell 7-1 to Shawnee Mission South on Tuesday at the Youth Sports Inc. fields. Sophomore Megan Johnson scored Lawrence’s goal off an assist by Lindsey Lawrence.

Lawrence, 2-14, will now prepare for next week’s 6A regionals.
