Burglaries and thefts reported

  • A 41-year-old woman told police someone took a 1990 Chrysler New Yorker sometime between 9 p.m. Wednesday and 7:30 a.m. Thursday from her home in the 2200 block of Oxford Road. She valued the car at $2,000.
  • A 34-year-old woman reported clothes valued at $880, a $50 pair of shoes, and a toiletry bag and contents worth $200 taken from her home in the 2500 block of University Drive. The theft happened between 3 p.m. April 24 and 10 a.m. Sunday, according to a report made public Friday.
  • A 57-year-old man who lives in the 1500 block of Legend Trail Drive told police $5,000 had been taken from his home between 10:30 a.m. March 2 and 11 a.m. March 9, according to a report made public Friday.
