Jobs and taxes

To the editor:

The Americans for Prosperity organization is blitzing politicians and running ads against supporting public education. They claim restoring the taxes that have been eliminated since 1995 will stifle job creation and put people out of work. How many people have been put out of work since the reduction of education funds commenced?

Koch Industries of Wichita is a part of this organization.

Not funding teachers in order to maintain our respectable education system will do little to create jobs. The more people who are forced out of work due to not funding classroom money is merely doing what?

The people from Koch industries seem to be experts in just about everything. The next item on their agenda may be Koch Private Schools Inc. funded by our tax dollars. The Wal-Mart and Koch families think they have the answers to our public school situations.

I say send some of your billions to the school districts with no strings attached instead of interfering. Our schoolteachers need money for supplies and want their jobs back.
