Free State High senior Will Malcolm plans to sign a letter of intent to play football at Washburn University in Topeka.

Malcolm, a 5-foot-10, 190-pounder, rushed for 441 yards and three touchdowns in an injury-plagued senior year for the Firebirds. He also played linebacker and was the team’s kicker.

Malcolm, Free State’s 10th football signee this year, will sign his letter of intent at 10 a.m. today in the Free State library.
