Outlaw divorce
To the editor:
If the state Legislature wants to uphold the sanctity of marriage, it should outlaw divorce. In justifying his vote in favor of a constitutional amendment banning gay marriage, Rep. Vern Osborne, of St. George, quoted a teacher saying, “Kids starting out with a mom and dad have a great advantage. Please protect that.” Yes, let’s save the marriage of one man and one woman. Make divorce illegal.
