Turn the thermostats down from 72 degrees to 55 degrees? Keep the lights off when the buildings aren't occupied? Replace single-pane windows with double-pane windows? We're spending $121,000 a year for this advice.
Don't we have anyone in the school district who could have discovered these ways of saving energy without outside help? Maybe we can save even more money by replacing or eliminating some maintenance people in the district. For $121,000 a year, I'll turn the thermostats down and turn off the lights myself. Hopefully we're getting more for our money than this advice.
