To the editor:

The article about the top 100 movie songs in Wednesday’s Journal-World was incorrect in saying that “Isn’t It Romantic” (1932) was the earliest of the songs. The movie that that song was in, “Love Me Tonight,” was the earliest movie listed, but there were at least four other songs on the partial list contained in that article that were earlier. They are: “It Had To Be You” (1924), “Singin’ In the Rain” (1929), “Puttin’ On the Ritz” (1930) and “As Time Goes By” (1931).
