To the editor:
Here’s to the Srinivasans and the Davidsons and their great kids, Srinija and John, who have made it big out in the great world but have not forgotten the start they got here! Here’s to USD 497 that has produced leaders whose pride, loyalty and dedication — and contributions of $10,000 each to our Lawrence Schools Foundation — have been given to help another generation here have the same advantages they had, even if our Legislature won’t!
Here’s to the real values nurtured here in our young people that still give us all hope that the world can — and someday will — be a better place.
