Audio-Reader Network gets intenational awards

The Kansas University Audio-Reader Network recently received two awards from the International Association of Audio and Information Services.

The service, which has volunteers read books and other publications for the blind, won the program of the year award for providing tapes of mail-order catalogs to subscribers. It also won the public awareness award for the “For Your Ears Only” fund-raiser, which was a sale of CDs and other audio products.
