Power hungry
To the editor:
This time I can’t resist. I just read the letter from Jennifer Floray Balke (Public Forum, July 9) that states “we the people” did vote this City Commission in. First, no fireworks in the city, then no smoking in any public place and finally, so far, no dog on a leash for more than an hour. I wonder how long it will be before the City Commission decides we must get permission from them to use our bathrooms. Yes, we did vote them in, but who knew they were going to be so power hungry? I, for one, will be glad when this commission’s time is up.
