Burglaries and thefts reported

  • A $1,000 set of golf clubs, along with 55 compact discs and a compact-disc player, were taken between 10 p.m. Tuesday and 8:45 a.m. Wednesday from a vehicle in the 600 block of Michigan Street. They belonged to a 27-year-old Lawrence man who lives on the block.
  • A 25-year-old Lawrence woman reported VHS tapes worth $2,000 taken between midnight Monday and 8:30 a.m. Tuesday from a home in the 1700 block of Miller Drive.
