Are we better?
To the editor:
Imelda Marcos is accused of living a flamboyant life off the money that was supposed to be used for the poor of the country.
How is this lifestyle different from our senators and representative who set up a law where they automatically get a pay increase each year, regardless of whether the economy’s down or if the schools are struggling to educate the children?
Our government is different because it’s doing everything “legally” but not morally right.
