The following construction projects and events may affect commuter traffic in the region this week:

U.S. Highway 75 over the Wakarusa River, traffic narrowed to one lane for bridge patching and overlay.

Interstate Highway 70, from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. Monday through Thursday and 5 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday, traffic reduced to one lane for sealing, patching and striping.

Kansas Highway 4 over Mission Creek, bridge closed for replacement.

Stubbs Road from U.S. Highway 40 to Southeast 29th Street, closed for bridge replacement over I-70.

East 300 Road from North 1825 Road to U.S. 40, closed for bridge replacement.

East 800 Road from County Road 438 to North 1750 Road, closed for bridge replacement over I-70.

K-92 from Kansas Highway 16 to Kansas Highway 7, closed to through traffic for bridge replacement. Detour posted.

Argent Mortgage Indy 300, 11:45 a.m. today, Kansas Speedway, Kansas City, Kan.

Interstate Highway 435 from 98th to 87th streets, traffic reduced to two lanes each direction Monday-Friday and reduced to one lane each direction during weekends. Lane width reduced to 12 feet.

I-70 from the 18th Street Expressway to one mile east of Interstate Highway 635 and I-635 from Parallel Parkway to Metropolitan Avenue, traffic reduced to two lanes each direction and exit closures.

I-35 from Southwest Boulevard to Kansas-Missouri state line, southbound traffic reduced to two 11-foot lanes for road reconstruction.

I-435 from Quivira Road to Metcalf Avenue, eastbound traffic reduced to one lane for road sealing, patching and striping from 7 p.m. Tuesday to 6 a.m. Thursday and 7 p.m. Friday to 6 a.m. Monday.

Bermuda Dunes Court, La Quinta Court and Indian Wells Court, parking removed and short-term lane interruptions for milling and overlay.

Riverview Road from Boulder Street to Kasold Drive, West Timber Court, Westland Place, Cattleman Trail, Cattleman Court, Pinnacle Circle and Pinnacle Court, no parking and short-term lane interruptions for milling and overlay.

Woodlawn Drive and associated side streets, no parking and short-term lane interruptions for milling and overlay.

Manchester and Westchester roads, no parking and short-term lane interruptions for milling and overlay.

Pioneer Road, no parking and short-term lane interruptions for milling and overlay.

Wellington Road from Seventh to Ninth streets and Ninth Street from Schwarz to Rockledge roads, parking restricted and lane closures for water line installation.

Fifteenth Street from Lawrence Avenue to Crestline Drive, restricted to one lane each direction for milling and overlay. May be delayed because of recent flooding.

Harvard Road from Iowa Street to Sunset Drive, no parking and short-term lane interruptions for milling and overlay.

Engel Road from 15th Street to Irving Hill Road, closed for road improvements, except for deliveries to residence halls.

Jayhawk Boulevard from 13th Street to Lilac Lane, limited to southbound traffic for steam tunnel installation. Fourteenth Street from Jayhawk Boulevard to Alumni Place closed.

Maiden Lane from North Third to North Fourth streets, on-street parking restricted for water line installation.

Sixth and Massachusetts streets, northbound traffic from New Hampshire Street detoured from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. to Seventh and Massachusetts streets for sidewalk relocation and ramp installation.

Tenth Street from Tennessee to New Hampshire streets, parking restricted on the north side for water line installation.

New Jersey Street from 11th to 14th streets and 12th Street from New Jersey to Delaware streets, parking restricted for water line installation.

Haskell Avenue from 11th to 13th streets and 12th Street at Haskell Avenue, closed for stormwater improvements. Detours posted.

Barker Avenue at 19th Street, closed for intersection improvements.

O’Connell Road from 27th to 31st streets, closed for street improvements.
