Too many bars?
To the editor:
“City battle on tap over downtown bars” (Journal-World, Jan. 17).
Oh, this is interesting!
Now that the City Commission has approved a nonconforming drinking establishment at Ninth and Illinois (I don’t care what excuse you use, the church is there) AND two additional bars in the area of 10th to 11th on Massachusetts Street, they’re starting to think maybe there are too many!
You’ve got to be kidding me!
