Impressive leader
To the editor:
Having never seen a band rehearsal, I was so impressed with John Lynch when I attended the Saturday morning rehearsal at the Lied Center of the John Philip Sousa Kansas Junior Honor Band that I decided to share my enjoyment of Mr. Lynch’s style and patience. His methods of inspiring and teaching this talented group of 180 students from more than 50 Kansas schools to play together were awesome. He is to be congratulated and emulated.
