Border politics
To the editor:
I would like to thank Rep. Tom Holland for his position on “illegal immigration.”
Many politicians on both sides of the aisle have continued to play “border politics” with this volatile issue.
Immigration is what America is all about! My ancestors, except for my great-grandmother who was Native American, came into the United States from Europe, legally. They, like many other immigrants, made significant contributions in this country.
America must continue to embrace “diverse immigration” as long as it is done according to the laws of the land. We cannot allow “corrupt politicians and cheaters” to compromise the American way.
