Visa-free travel
To the editor:
Homeland Security continues to support “visa-free travel,” for a select group of countries, including Saudi Arabia and Pakistan.
This program that allows foreign travelers to come into this country is known as the “visa waiver program.”
The crucial question is: How many of these visa-free travelers have over-stayed their visits and remain in the United States? Homeland Security has no idea.
In short, the visa is supposed to be a safeguard for keeping dangerous foreigners out of the USA.
