United Way names campaign co-chairs

The United Way of Douglas County announced Friday that Todd and Caprice Thompson, a long-time Lawrence couple, will be the 2004-2005 co-chairs for the organization’s upcoming fund-raising campaign.

Todd Thompson, an attorney with Thompson & Associates, has served in leadership roles with the Lawrence Rotary Club, Leadership Lawrence, Health Care Access Inc., Lawrence Memorial Hospital Endownment Assn., the Douglas County 4-H Foundation and the Lawrence Chamber of Commerce’s Economic Task Force.

Caprice Thompson, a speech and language pathologist with Lawrence Public Schools, has been active with the Parent Teachers Organization and has been involved with Head Start and the Friends of the Spencer Museum.
