Mercury damage

To the editor:

My son attends Quail Run School and has mercury poisoning, not from the pinewood derby spill, but from his childhood vaccines containing thimerosal, 49.6 percent mercury, that crosses the blood brain barrier. Once across the brain’s own protective system, it is difficult to remove and causes damage.

Mercury directly injected into a human body has an uptake to the brain six to 10 times faster than ingestion or inhalation. Mercury is a known neurotoxin and does not belong in vaccines or other pharmaceutical products. No one can defend its use in humans.

Five thousand dollars seems cheap to clean up mercury. The taxpayers, as well as my family, pay 10 times that annually. Maybe it’s time we hold pharmaceutical manufacturers and lawmakers responsible for the damage they have caused by using untested thimerosal in vaccines. Where was HazMat when my son was at well-baby checks receiving vaccines?
