Great weekend

To the editor:

What a great weekend! First a beautiful day and the Old-Fashioned Christmas Parade and its 120 horse-drawn carriages. Next, a trip to the cathedral of basketball to watch the top-ranked Jayhawks. Finally, the opportunity to see and hear more than 225 talented musicians at the 80th Annual Holiday Vespers. KU is one of the few public universities to offer a musical holiday program. Lawrence is truly a unique and special place to live.
