Lawrence Police said Tuesday that in the past 24 hours they’d handled:

  • 241 calls
  • 26 reports
  • four burglaries
  • five thefts
  • four non-injury accidents
  • 10 noise complaints

Burglaries, thefts reported

  • A 46-year-old Baldwin man reported nearly $8,000 in tools and electronics stolen in two burglaries between Nov. 19 and Nov. 29 from the 2100 block of Haskell Avenue.
  • A $2,000 men’s diamond ring was stolen between noon and 6:30 p.m. Wednesday from a vehicle in the 3200 block of Iowa Street.
