To the editor:
Recent articles in the Journal-World have reported on overcrowded classrooms in Lawrence public schools and a crisis in the availability of mental health care.
On one of those same days, the governor proposed increasing pay and benefits for National Guard members — so that more people will be willing to go over and risk their lives in a country which did not have either weapons of mass destruction or links to terrorists.
No comment needed.
