Rocky issue
To the editor:
I ask again, “Why?”
I see the county is chip-and-sealing roads again. They don’t need it, and they are still using the more costly brown rock.
Why is not the cheaper, more driver-friendly white rock used? The brown is deer-colored and makes it hard to see them standing in the road. It also costs the county residents a lot of wasted money.
A few townships in the area use the cheaper, brighter white rock, and I commend them for it. Why not the county? Are they wasting our money and don’t care?
