  • Two men and a woman suffered minor injuries after a fight involving two knives broke out Friday afternoon at 1105 La. A 22-year-old man was arrested and charged with aggravated battery, Lawrence Police Department spokesman Sgt. Dan Ward said.
  • Police recovered a stolen 1986 Ford truck valued at $3,000 on Thursday at 925 Iowa.

Burglaries and thefts reported

  • Someone forged three checks totaling $1,352 at Wal-Mart, 3300 Iowa. It happened about 2:30 p.m. Wednesday.
