Civil action

To the editor:

I assume Amy Swan was not doing anything overt to draw attention to the fact that she was breast-feeding her child at her health club, so I would like to remind the gentleman offended by seeing Ms. Swan’s “parts” that it’s not polite to stare, and I encourage him to teach his young son the same. If his son is old enough to learn a lesson about how to handle a grievance, dad also might take him along when he asks the club’s manager whether there is a policy regarding breast-feeding on club property, which is how any civil person would have settled it in the first place.
