Marriage right

To the editor:

Would you not agree that gay marriage is a religious issue? Then why is it being mentioned in law? Have you ever heard of the separation of church and state? Isn’t that what America is all about? Keeping religion out of law? You people have no right to even think you can force your beliefs on other people! Gays can already get married in churches! And who would gay marriages hurt? That’s right. No one. If you don’t want gay marriage, don’t get one. It’s that simple. I really don’t like the idea that someone else is telling me who I can and cannot marry. It is my right as an American citizen.
