10 a.m.-noon: Kids Sesquicentennial Series, “Lewis and Clark: A Voyage of Exploration,” ages 9-11, Watkins Community Museum of History, 1047 Mass.
Sunday
3 p.m.: Sesquicentennial Lecture Series, “Life Before Territory – 1800 to 1854,” by Randy Thies, archeologist for the Kansas Historical Society, 3 p.m., donation suggested.

150 Years of Office Supplies and Equipment Sesquicentennial Exhibit, Watkins Community of History, 1047 Mass., free.
May 5
7 p.m.: “Bleeding Kansas,” talk by Jonathan Earle, Lawrence Public Library, 707 Vt., free.

Re-dedication of Unitarian Bell by Lawrence High School Class of 2004, free.

6:30 p.m.: Sesquicentennial Lecture Series, “Amelia Earhart: First Lady of the Air,” by Ann Birney who portrays the famous female aviator from Kansas, Watkins Community Museum of History, 1047 Mass.
