Burglaries and thefts reported

• A 22-year-old Lawrence woman reported Thursday that someone had caused $1,500 worth of damage, including a broken window and a dented door, to her 1997 Mitsubishi Montero. According to a police report, the incident occurred between 10 p.m. Wednesday and 11:45 a.m. Thursday in the 800 block of Connecticut Street.
• Two cars were reported burglarized Thursday at an apartment complex in the 3700 block of Clinton Parkway. A 23-year-old Lawrence resident told police a CD player and receiver and 200 CDs were taken from his car between 11 p.m. Wednesday and 11 a.m. Thursday. Items from his car were valued at $2,300, according to a police report. In the second incident, a 24-year-old Lawrence resident reported that someone had taken his CD player and receiver, valued at $300, between 7:30 p.m. Wednesday and 8 a.m. Thursday.
