Going in circles
To the editor:
This is regarding your editorial “Projects pile up” (April 21) and the recent news stories on the deteriorating road conditions in Lawrence. Maybe there would be enough funds for road repair if the idiotic, unnecessary projects such as traffic circles, roundabouts and pedestrian islands would cease. And, please, don’t anyone respond saying that this comes out of a different budget. It comes out of one budget: the taxpayers’ pocket! Think about this as you are going in circles at 19th and Barker.
