Final salute
To the editor:
I’m sure I speak for many local Ottawans in expressing my thanks for your excellent coverage of Christopher Wasser’s death as a Marine serving his country in Iraq. While I do not personally know the family, I feel a special burden of pain for them, his friends and all who knew and loved him. Such a sad end to a very young and vital life. It is my prayer every day that this killing will come to some kind of peaceful end in order that we may all co-exist in harmony and love. I salute you, Lance Corporal Wasser.
