• Unintentional smoke detector activation, 6:03 p.m. Wednesday, 1722 W. 24th St.
• Fire call, canceled, 5:09 p.m. Wednesday, 1632 Engel Road.

Stray dogs brought to shelter

• Shepherd mix, black and tan, red collar, male, 4 to 5 years.
• Aussie retriever mix, blue collar, male, 1 to 2 years.
